Rahul N. Mehra, M.D.
CEO and Chief Physician Executive

As a nationally recognized performance physician over the last thirty years, Dr. Mehra currently advises Major League Baseball, political leaders, physicians, C-Suite executives, former National Football League players, on sensitive matters of stress, peak performance, relationships, family, substance abuse, business/financial pressures and workplace safety. He is a certified instructor in Mental Health First Aid thru the National Council of Behavioral Health.

Dr. Mehra is the CEO and Chief Physician Executive of the National Center for Performance Health (NCPH), a Florida based, national healthcare organization focused on improving human performance at work, home, school, and in athletics. Current NCPH clients include corporations, non-profits, academic institutions, collegiate athletic departments and individual families. Dr. Mehra is a dual board- certified physician and a former Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He works in and has extensively volunteered in the local and statewide foster care system in Florida. In May of 2018, Dr. Mehra gave the medical keynote address for “Beyond the Physical: A Symposium on Mental Health and Sports” in Atlanta, GA. This event garnered national attention and was sponsored by the National Football League, NFL-Players Association and Cigna.

Dr. Mehra and Cathy have two daughters, a granddaughter and son-in-law. Dr. Mehra is passionate about family, international travel, cooking, and physical fitness.

 

Vicki B. Davis, MS, LMHC, CEAP
Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Davis is a co-founder and has served as Chief Operating Officer since inception in 2007. She brings over 30 years of broad based experience in improving human performance for NCPH clients. Ms. Davis is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University. She holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology. Her career has focused on tactics to achieve positive outcomes for employees, students and athletes. She is a licensed mental health counselor and a certified employee assistance professional.

One of her many accomplishments includes leading the employee assistance program and managed care division for the 5th largest healthcare company in the country at the time, BayCare Health System based in Florida. During her leadership, she guided her staff and the employee assistance program to the prestigious CARF accreditation with exemplary status and the managed care division to URAC accreditation. Ms. Davis’ wealth of experience in psychological first aid has helped the victims of natural disasters, bank robberies, hostage situations, suicides at the workplace and other acts of trauma or crises. This experience has afforded victims as well as survivors an easier transition to restore mental, physical and spiritual health.  Ms. Davis has created, designed and implemented service delivery models that have received national and international accolades. Ms. Davis’ experience in network development and management has shown reduction in health care costs with an increase in member satisfaction and positive outcomes in member health.

Additionally, Ms. Davis has an innate understanding of systems, processes and people that uniquely qualifies her from an operational perspective to guide NCPH to the next phase of  expansion. Specifically, her work with professional athletes, academic based programs, corporations in 23 states have all contributed to her expertise in improving performance on the field, in school and at work. Ms. Davis is a native Floridian. She lives with her family in Pinellas County.

 

Doug Pace
Chief Strategy Officer

Doug Pace has been considered one of the most innovative minds in management consulting and marketing strategy for over two decades. He has been the Chief Strategy Officer for National Center for Performance Health since 2016. Doug is a noted speaker on business design, marketing strategy, building innovative cultures, and Design Thinking. He brings an innovative and progressive approach to assist National Center for Performance  Health in client recruitment, retention and delivery of service.

Prior to working with NCPH, Doug was Chief Operating Officer of Bayshore Solutions. Bayshore Solutions is a nationally recognized digital agency with offices in Florida and Colorado. During his tenure with the firm it was recognized by Ad Age magazine ten years in a row as a top 100 digital agency, six years by INC Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business of the Year, and by Microsoft as the Global Partner of the Year.  Doug has been recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of the 75 Most Influential Consultants in the United States. 

Doug currently serves on the boards of numerous schools and organizations including the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, BBVA Compass Bank, Lions Eye Institute Foundation, Town of Belleair Infrastructure Committee, University of Florida’s College of Engineering, and the Hillsborough County Film Commission. His past affiliations include the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Tampa Bay Partnership, St. Petersburg Grand Prix, Pinellas County MPO, and Leadership Tampa Bay. Doug graduated from the University of Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, has been recognized with an Executive Fellowship in Innovation from the University of South Florida, and holds a Certificate in Energy Innovation from Stanford University.

 

Todd Boulanger, M.Ed., PHR
Vice President, Academic Champion
Todd Boulanger oversees all recruitment, design and implementation for NCPH’s Academic Champion programming. He brings a diverse range of professional expertise to NCPH. He has worked for over twenty- five years with children who have incurred varying degrees of trauma. In addition, Todd is experienced in staff training and development. He has presented numerous trainings and workshops on sexual abuse risk management for schools, child centered programs and parent/professional groups. Additionally, Todd has led  organizations who are seeking national accreditation from entities such as COA (Council on Accreditation). His broad  knowledge base related to children, systems and trainings sets him apart in contributing to organizational risk management policies.

Todd’s innate passion for youth and young adults is focused on ultimately improving their academic performance but most importantly insuring their success in life. Todd has demonstrated entrepreneurial accomplishments to include the creation of The Rope Trainer-designed for having the perfect pitch and throw in baseball. Todd’s easy going personality and use of humor is disarming and immediately helps build trust with his clients. Todd is married to his wife of seventeen years. Together, they have two sons who are both active in youth sports. Todd is a dedicated volunteer in youth development.

Sherrie S. Vassy, B.S., MEd.
Director of Corporate and Academic Training
Sherrie’s recruitment to the NCPH team was based on her over 25+ year career in training, teaching, and education. Her passion driven belief for quality learning made her a natural choice to lead our corporate and academic training division. She thrives on creating optimal learning environments, and this naturally integrates with NCPH’s core value of education and outreach to populations served. A five-year peer determined award-winning teacher, Sherrie epitomizes that individual whose personal values drive that heart felt desire to help others achieve their full potential. As the mother of two student athletes, Sherrie brings firsthand knowledge and expertise to the challenges that young people confront daily. This unique perspective allows Sherrie to effectively create, design, and implement strategies that maximize student athlete engagement into our customized programming.

Sherrie is devoted to her Christian faith and her husband of over 25 years. She enjoys the outdoors, is an avid reader, and provides on-going guidance to her daughters. One is now a medical student at the USC College of Medicine in Greenville, S.C., and the second daughter is a student at the College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C.
